God and Politics

There is a Liberal Christian (an oxymoron if ever there was) Blog, God’s Politics: a blog by JIM WALLIS and friends, on Beliefnet supported by Sojourners organization and magazine. The opening statement in the “About this Blog” section states:

“The monologue of the Religious Right is over and a new conversation has begun!”

Sojourners, Jim Wallis and friends are the leaders in what is known as the Emergent Church Movement. In truth they are far Left Socialist masquerading as Evangelical Christians. My site Truth Magazine US and attendant Truth Magazine Blog were brought into existence to combat that cancer on the Body of Christ.

In addition to those sites I am also the Editor of The Republican Papers a political site and Damascus Road Ministry an Evangelical Christian Site. 

While maintaining two separate sites I have always preached that Christians should not give up their civic duty and responsibilities just because the Liberal Machine (the mainstream media and entertainment industry) send a continuing drumbeat of "separation of church and state."

Yes, I know that the Jesus “said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.” (Mark 12:17 KJV) However, that verse as the entire Bible, was written for a specific people at a specific time in history. However, it also has application for today. In this case it does not mean that we should subjugate ourselves to Government because in America we are the Government! Therefore we have the duty and responsibility to ensure that the laws we live under in this world conform to the Word of God.

That brings me to this Web Ring. It is the link that binds together God and Politics.  While I know that all that call themselves Conservatives are not Christians, I believe that all Christians are Conservatives.

One can be Liberal or one can be Christian but under today’s definitions you cannot be both. Liberalism espouses a Postmodern Worldview and that is anathema to Judeo-Christianity.
